TEXAS BABY!

HOWDY! Been here in texas for about 5 days now! I'm learning to love it! The first couple days were a little stressful and I was really homesick but yesterday was super busy and was really fun! I flew in on Wednesday and it was a pretty relaxed day just met the mission president and his wife they are awesome! We slept at some elders apartments that night and the next day on Thursday we met our companions and my comp is pretty chill and cool! We did some training and than left and headed to our area, PALESTINE! It's just a little rural town and best known for the prison hahaha and railroads! It was super hot Friday i think it was Friday or saturday night me and elder howe my comp went and got ice cream and fries at McDonald's that was fun and cheered me up!  the humidity is bad but I've gotten used to it and its cooled down a little bit yesterday and it rained alot last night there was a huge storm the lightning and thunder was crazy I got a video of it! Sunday was awesome! I was a little home sick in the morning but after church once we got to work it was awesome! We had a lot of fun and taught some people over the phone and one person  his name is tyler he is awesome! Loves the bible just like everyone in texas but he's very open about learning more about the Book of Mormon and thinks it's very interesting! So that's awesome! Yesterday at church we had 3 investigators show up! It was crazy! And so awesome one of them brought his wife and 3 kids too so that was so cool two of the investigators that came yesterday have baptismal dates! Coming up soon! Today has been awesome! We did studies this morning than went to Walmart and grabbed a couple things and I bought a fishing pole because every p day my district goes fishin! It was super fun I got a couple bites but didn't catch anything a couple other missionaries caught some! A member has some land with a pond on it so they let us fish there! The rest of the day is going to be pretty relaxed just got to do laundry and then I'll get to call home later and than we got to go teach tonight I think but it's been an awesome day! Today in personal study I finished 1 nephi and I love the last verse  

 31 Wherefore, ye need not suppose that I and my father are the only ones that have testified, and also taught them. Wherefore, if ye shall be obedient to the commandments, and endure to the end, ye shall be saved at the last day. And thus it is. Amen

Follow his commandments and endure to the end ye shall be saved. Its just a great reminder.
