Hey yall! Happy Monday and happy birthday to me! Haha it's nice to have your birthday on pday but also I've been packing on my birthday so that's not fun! We got transfer news last night and I'm going to Gilmer Texas it's the same zone that Idabel is in! So I'll be back closer to my old area! This week has been awesome but also slow with Thanksgiving, we spent a lot of time with members this week but didn't teach  any investigator lessons. We also did a lot of service this week which was fun, we went to this church and helped with a food drive and they said they got a donation of food from our church so I took a selfie with the peanut butter that had the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints on it haha. We had two Thanksgiving dinners on Thursday and some left overs so we were full and got fed some good food! Today we are going to get lunch and play basketball with other missionaries and hopefully have a lot of fun! Spiritual thought for today, D&C...

Well howdy there, this week was full of all different experiences so buckle up cause we're starting with a wild one. Words can't describe how weird this experience was, but on Tuesday all of our lessons fell through so we were just stopping by people trying to teach or set up lessons and we stop by Ryan we have taught him a couple times but he likes to drink and smoke that weed! So he's not sober a lot of the times. We showed up and he was outside talking to his neighbor and when he saw us he couldn't believe it was us. He said he's in a dark place right now and he just couldn't believe we showed up right than. He had a big oversized coat on and had his hand in his coat so we get to talking and he said he took his wife back because they separated for a time and that they did some hard core drugs together. We just had one of the most miracle filled weeks ever! It was amazing, but we will get to those miracles in a sec! To start out the week we did exchanges with our zone leaders and I went to Bossier with Elder Monson we came out together so it was fun to hangout for the day! On that exchange we helped some other elders move into their new apartment and we also did service at the ymca and cleaned the gyms! We had some great lessons this week and found a couple new people. We have been trying to get in members homes and teach them and get referrals! So we went by this really cool family named the Mitchell's and taught them and before we could even invite them to pray about someone. The dad goes yeah we will be praying for people you guys can teach and asked his kids if they knew anyone they could invite to be taught or come to church. Hey yall! Sorry I didn't email last week! I'll include pics from last week too! This one is probably gonna be short because their isn't much that has changed, thalmor an older guy that we are teaching was on date to be baptized yesterday on Halloween but he has cancer and he hasn't been feeling well so we haven't been able to teach him much but we are teaching his wife too and she is a hot mess she is so stressed out from her husband she just drinks her stress away so if yall Will please pray for her we are fasting with her this Sunday for a miracle to happen to have her addictions stop! Debra and thalmor are their names, we have also been teaching a man named Charlie or cj he goes by both and we put him on date to be baptized on November 13th! He has been coming to church for a couple weeks he is pretty promising!
