Hotter Than Hades!

Well howdy yall! We had a fantastic week full of miracles!

Because of all the rain last week there was a lot of flooding, roads were closed with up to 4 feet of water. Than the rest of the week was insanely hot yesterday it felt like 111 degrees with the humidity That was a little frustrating trying to visit people out in the country and just get stopped by a lake in the road. After running into all this water and closed roads on Tuesday we got subway for dinner and went to the park to eat. We pull up and only one person is there at the pavilion so we go to the table by her and she is reading her Bible so we are like this is meant to be we finish eating and than start talking to her it was awesome we gave her a book of Mormon and she said she was going to read it! We have been working with this member in our branch she has 3 grandchildren living with her and 2 are not members they want to be baptized so bad so they are on date for July 4th  how cool will that be to be baptized on AMERICA'S BIRTHDAY! We are working with aot of part member families right now and are going to see a lot of people enter the waters of baptizm soon it is such a blessing and privilege to be a part of their journey! I had a very powerful spiritual experience I would like to share with y'all. Yesterday I was on Facebook and came across this video of a guy that was explaining why he left the Church. After watching it left me evaluating my own testimony. I've had countless experiences on my mission that I know this church is true and that the Book of Mormon is true. This is just another one to add to my list. We went to church  and those things the guy said rang in my ears. A couple from our stake were speaking to us and she shared an experience that she had where she prayed with a question ended her prayer opened the scriptures to a random page and read the verse and it was her answer. I went home and because the meeting we had that morning I didn't have time to do personal study so I went to start my personal study and for the first time I prayed outloud and I didn't really feel any different, but I was just pleading with the lord to help me rember those experiences I've had and to strengthem my testimony of the Book of Mormon and everything really. I than was watching a church video and it was good but I just felt like my answer wasn't there so I opened to my scriptures and read the first highlighted thing I saw which was mosiah 1:6-7 6 O my sons, I would that ye should remember that these sayings are true, and also that these records are true. And behold, also the plates of Nephi, which contain the records and the sayings of our fathers from the time they left Jerusalem until now, and they are true; and we can know of their surety because we have them before our eyes.

   7 And now, my sons, I would that ye should remember to search them diligently, that ye may profit thereby; and I would that ye should keep the commandments of God, that ye may prosper in the land according to the promises which the Lord made unto our fathers.

I testify to you that God is real he answers prayers and that the Book of Mormon is true. If you're having any questions or doubts t I challenge you to do this very thing it will grow your faith in God and the Book of Mormon tremendously!
