I'm A Slacker

Hey y'all! Sorry I forgot to send an email last week. It was a great past week we saw a lot of miracles and I'd like to share a couple with yall. I don't know if I have talked about Andre's but he is aweosme he is 21 and we met him about 2 weeks ago he was just walking in downtown Idabel and we asked if he knew anyone that would like to hear a message about Jesus Christ and he said ME! We shared with him a scripture about repentance and got his number and gave him our card. We didn't talk to him for the rest of the week and we got a phone call last week on Sunday and he said he was at church and no one was there that was at 8:30 church didn't start until 10! Haha so we showed up and gave him a church tour and taught him a lot of things from the restoration, baptism and the sacrament. He loved it! A member asked him why he came and he said well the Elders asked me too so I came. Soo we invited him to start reading the Bom, we have met with him almost everyday this past week and let's just say he is Ellect, absolutely prepared. He immediately kept all of our commitments but than we invited him to be baptized and he said he wasn't ready we asked him to pray and ask God if he should get baptized and than if he doesn't get an answer through the spirit to open up the scriptures and there will be his answer. We'll a couple hours later we got a text from him saying he wants to get baptized and a picture of a scripture. He is now on date for August 29th! I am so truly grateful for the chance to be a missionary and to be able to be an instrument in God's hands. The miracles that happen everyday show me that this is his work and that it is the greatest work!
