Another One In Louisiana

Hi, hello, how are ya?

Anyways, we had a great week. It was the last week of the transfer, we started off the week with a miracle! We got a self refferall, so we text her and at like 8  am and she immediately texted back and said yeah you can come by today.... We were shocked no one ever responds or when they do they say they never remember referring themselves. So we go by with this member and we are a little worried cause it was at motel so yeah that's sketchy, we meet her and her family and they are just prepared! So humble she had recently got out of jail and trying to change her life around, what better way than to turn to Jesus haha. I was still a little skeptical that she might just mess up again and this isn't gonna anywhere but the member said when we left "just think about it this is where Jesus would be if he was on earth" and I was like yeah you're totally right! They ended up coming to church and loving it and we have a lesson tonight! We had another lesson that night with thalmor who is on date to be baptized on Halloween we read 3 Nephi 11 where Jesus visits the people in America and thalmore says "this is different, I like it!" I can't remember much of anything else from this week, we got transfer news last night and Elder McDonough and I are staying in Brownlee! I also did exchanges in the Spanish area again this week and that was excited, we Street contacting a little bit and Elder Layton wrote my testimony down in Spanish so I could speak to people. We met this one guy and I just had a feeling he knew English, but we talked to him for awhile in Spanish well Elder Layton did and than he liked at me and I said something about Jesus and the book of mormon and than at the end he says in perfect English. "Keep working on your Spanish it's coming along" I was proud of myself but also a little embarrassed haha it was quite funny!
