The Promised Land Of Gilmer

Hey yall! I don't know even know where to begin it's been a fat minutes since I wrote a weekly!

Let me just say it has been some of best, most miracle filled weeks of my mission haha and some hard parts of course or we couldn't have seen these miracles!

I'm just gonna try to skim over some highlights from the past couple of weeks. Christmas was the best definitely my favorite Christmas out of the two we spent Christmas eve and christmas day with members eating way to much food. Lighting the rood with love and sharing God's love and talking about Jesus Christ with everyone was just unreal! The spirit was so strong the month of December!

Let me tell you about a pretty big miracle from the past week. There is a guy named Kyle who was taught by missionaries in past in this area and he was ready to be baptized and than he went to boot camp for like 12 weeks or something but Kyle was coming home for Christmas and was only gonna be in town for 10 days. We went and met Kyle the second day he was home set up a lesson for the next day, went by and asked him if he still wanted to be baptized he said yes of course! This is the answer to many of our prayers! He only had 8 more days in town so we got him a interview, he passed and Kyle took the step of faith and was baptized on Dec 31 2021 new years eve baby!! Nothing better than being the cleanest person going into the new year! This man is absolutely elect I'm so eternally grateful for the short time I had to spend with Kyle he left yesterday for training in Virginia for 17 weeks! There is so many miracles and cool things that happened in the week leading up to his baptism it was a privilege to be a part of it!

Now you thought that was a crazy situation let me tell you about this one. His name is Gary Bradshaw he has been taught by the other missionaries that live with us for like 3 years he was a member referral. Gary lives in our area but his fellowshipper was living in the other ward that's why he was taught by the other missionaries. Gary is now getting baptized and in order for everything to be done right he needs to be baptized in the right area. So I guess we're having another baptism tonight! Haha no none of the credit goes to us those Elders deserve it!

Sad news time, I hit 18 months on the 1st time is going way to fast don't worry I'm bit trinky and we are working hard! Thus is the last week of the transfer and than my companion Elder Lakey will be going home, he is an absolute beast I love him. Sad I only get 6 weeks with him!
Ps if you have emailed me personally and I haven't emailed back you're not the only one I am sucking at emailing sorry!!

I love yall feel free to email me!

Alma 9:26 And not many days hence the Son of God shall come in his glory; and his glory shall be the glory of the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace, equity, and truth, full of patience, mercy, and long-suffering, quick to hear the cries of his people and to answer their prayers.
