Cold Week

Well howdy there yall! Another great week in the great state of Texas, we had a interesting week! We were on exchange with the other Gilmer Elders we live with and put visiting people when we got a mesaage saying we had be inside asap from the first presidency we were all kind of stressing thinking we were going back into quarintine because of covid if it was from the first presidency. But it was just because of the weather! So we had to stay inside from Wednesday night until Saturday morning, it was fun with us four Elders but we were all going a little stir crazy! With us being inside we only had a couple lessons this week but Sunday was awesome we were really busy we visited a lot of people had awesome conversations with members and non members about Jesus Christ! 

It brings me so much joy to testify of our Savior Jesus Christ everyday! I know he is my personal savior and he is your personal savior! He know you and how you are feeling, my studies in the Book of Mormon this week have been just pure awesomeness not gonna lie! I have learned so much and felt so much joy and love through the spirit. A couple versea that I read today in my studies was Alma 27: 17-18

17 Now the joy of Ammon was so great even that he was full; yea, he was swallowed up in the joy of his God, even to the exhausting of his strength; and he fell again to the earth.

   

   18 Now was not this exceeding joy? Behold, this is joy which none receiveth save it be the truly penitent and humble seeker of happiness.

I invite you to study the Book of Mormon everyday and be a humble seeker of happiness! By the reading the Book of Mormon everyday we can be filled with joy!
