Jesus And Good Food :)

Howdy! We had grand ol Easter week:)

I hope y'all had a great time celebrating Christ resurrection!

Let me tell you some highlights and miracles from this week becuse that is what you are here for! We have had the privilege recently to visit a lot of the inactive members in our ward. It was most likely because it was Easter but the families that we have been visiting came to church and it was amazing! Such a step of faith for them. We also had 2 friends coke to church so over all it was a fantastic Easter. I love talking about our Savior but especially about our living savior and the fact that he lives today I don't think people realize that!! That he lives and loves each of us.

Chad, he is such a cool dude we Street contacted his daughter amber like 2 weeks ago and she said he would be interested so we went by and he came out and said that he reads the Book of Mormon every day! Why the heck isn't Chad baptized you're probably wondering, yeah I don't know but we will figure it out and get him in the water to make those covenants! He said he had been to church before and he would come to church on Easter but the member showed up to pick him up and he was working! He told us he didn't work on sundays, so Chad is going to get taught this week and we are going to get him to church! Pray for Chad.

We went to MLC this week at Presidents house its always spiritually uplifted and great to see other missionaries, we went to dinner after to Hawaiin bros and as we were pulling in we saw two birds fighting next to a storm drain well as you can expect to dukb birds fighting they rolled into the storm drain and could get out so they were probably feeling pretty stupid.

We ate a lot of food this weekend! We went to a huge Easter lunch with some members on Saturday directly after eating we went to our next lunch with some non members that we met while doing tornado clean up. In Sunday a guy in our ward just got home from his mission and they had us over for lunch and it was probably the best Easter  lunch ever, not only did we have ham we had brisket and pulled pork it was amazing!

Today we went fishing at a members pond that we have never been too, well let's just say it wasn't super successful Elder mckinght was the only one to catch a well he caught a water mocison it was a huge poisonous snake!

After that we left and tried fishing somwgere else and didn't have much luck so we came to the club house and brother Pilcher the awesome member that he is asked if we wanted ribs and had two huge rack of ribs it was delicious!

Please take the prophets council, learn about God and seek the miracles he has in store for you and most importantly repent daily. Each and everyday we make mistakes and repentance is the way to feel joy and relief from those mistakes!
