Tender Mercies:)

Howdy hey! I don't even know where to begin, it has been a crazy week. Although I was very sad to leave Gilmer, Shreveport is going to make for a very interesting last 6 weeks of my mission.

My new companion is Elder Curtis and he is from Arizona and this is his 3rd transfer so he is pretty new but a hard working missionary! Tuesday was transfers and I was fun to see so many missionaries and say goodbye to one of my companions Elder Park he went home. We got in N out burger and that was the first time I have had it in 2 years it was pretty bomb, we than started our 3.5 hour journey back to Shreveport and we got here about 5:30 and just settled in and unpacked and went shopping and such. Our apartment is super nice!

I want to share a couple cool experiences from this week. As I said I had a hard to time leaving Gilmer and coming to Shreve but I just have to say that God knows exactly how we are feeling and is always there to give aid and comfort us when we are sad. Transfers feels like a hard break up all day I was just sad on Tuesday and nervous for the future. As we got here and I was unpacking I new I just needed to pray and read the Book Of Mormon. So I knelt down and just pleaded with God for comfort and peace and just wanted to know why he needed me here in Shreveport. I want each of you to know that he answers prayers, and he answered mine. The peace and joy that I felt and than going and reading my scriptures brought me even more peace. So when you're going through a hard time don't be afraid to ask God for help! :)

Probably the biggest highlight from the week! SARAH GOT BAPTIZED!

Sarah was supposed to be baptized on May 14th and she asked me to baptize her so I was really hoping I wasn't going to get transfered but I did haha. My mission president is the best and he let me go back to gilmer on Saturday and baptize her if I got a ride from a member. We got a ride and it was the best day ever, as I walked in to the church she came came running in a all white and gave me a big hug and was just so excited to get baptized. The joy and the spirit that I felt was indescribable!! It was amazing to say the least.

Welp I love yall and I hope to hear from ya don't forget to email me! :)
